Wisdom of the Heart – Ritz and Wesson (2022) – Wisdom Of The Heart is their third album, a record that combines the comfortingly old-fashioned and the modern. The mix of original songs reflects the sort of sets you might have heard back then and shows how much they learned paying their dues has stayed with them.
Paris Opera Tango – Michela Musco and Romano Viazzani (2023) -This is a vocalise composed by Romano Viazzani for Parisian coloratura soprano Michela Musco and is written to exploit Michela Musco’s incredible vocal range.
Getaway Car – The Romano Viazzani Ensemble (2020) – This fascinating piece uses special effects on instruments to provide revving cars, sirens and car horns. in it’s introduction. It’s a tango based on a blues chord sequence.
Libertango (Astor Piazzolla) – The Romano Viazzani Ensemble (2020) -Libertango was released just prior to the album London Tango in which it features. It is Astor Piazzolla’s best known work and has had global success. This particular version was arranged by John Bailey.
Show me the light – Omar Kamal (2019) – A beautiful album by the Palestinian crooner Omar Kamal. Romano Viazzani was called upon to do a session for the Tango in this album.
